Wonderful Wednesdays! This winter and spring (January 9 - March 12) First Presbyterian Church will again host Wonderful Wednesdays. The youth will do it with a bit of a twist! Walk or drive to the church after school and find a quiet space to do your homework. At 5:30 p.m. we'll meet in the Assembly Room for dinner and dessert (bring $5). Live Out Loud is for those who want to explore new ways to live their faith. As a follow-up to a very successful Middle School Montreat Conference, the group will put into action faith and words as described in James 2:14-26. Activities range from Bible studies, movies & follow-up discussions, to plenty of opportunities for partnering with organizations around the community in mission. This small group is open to all youth.
The second small group PQA (Presbyterian Questions & Answers: Exploring Christian Faith), based loosely on Donald McKim's book, is for those youth who want to dig deeper and discuss difficult questions of faith. This small group is open to all youth.
