Marlon G. Hurst joined the FPC staff as Director of Music and Arts in January 2003. Prior to his arrival in Lexington, he served as the Director of Music Ministries at the Conyers Presbyterian Church in metro Atlanta, and as Director of Music and Youth at First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in his hometown of London, KY. While in Atlanta, Marlon sang with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Chorus and Chamber Chorus under the direction of Robert Shaw and Norman Mackenzie. He was also a member of The Atlanta Singers. Marlon holds degrees in church music and choral conducting from Cumberland College and the University of Tennessee. He and his wife, Jennifer, have two daughters. Click here to email Marlon. |

Susan Hoffman Combs began working with FPC children's program in 1991 when her children were very young. She served the church in various ways before joining the staff as Director of Children's Ministry in 2003. A native of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, she graduated from the University of the South with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. She and her husband, Sayre, and their two sons, Price and Miller, live on a farm in Fayette County. Click here to email Susan. | |

Kelly Abraham joined the staff of First Presbyterian Church in August 2005 as Director of Youth and Their Families. Kelly and her husband, Kirk, moved to Lexington in August 2004 from Columbia, Missouri, where they served as leaders of the Middle School Youth Group for First Presbyterian Church for three years. A native of Cleveland, Ohio, she received a BA in Accounting and International Business from the University of Puget Sound in 1994. In 2003, she received her Master's in Business Administration from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She and Kirk have two children. Click here to email Kelly. |

Tina Boyd Wagoner, CAGO, is the daughter of Tom and Ruth Boyd, of Huntington, West Virgina. Tina grew up hearing the fine organ-playing of her mother at Trinity Episcopal Church. Ms. Wagoner studied organ at the University of Kentucky with Arnold Blackburn and continues to study with Dr. Schuyler Robinson. She holds a BM degree in music education and piano performance, an MM in organ performance, a Rank 1 in music education, and is a Level 2 Orff-Schulwerk teacher. Tina has been a public school music teacher since 1984. In 1999, her elementary school chorus was one of very few elementary choruses ever invited to sing at the Kentucky Music Educators' Association state convention. An active member of the American Guild of Organists, Tina annually organizes the AGO's Pedals, Pipes and Pizza - a program that introduces the pipe organ to young people. She is married to Carl Wagoner and has two daughters. |
