Whatever your age, First Church has opportunities for Christian learning -- on Sundays and Wednesdays.  You will find the classes and descriptions for Children's Education at the bottom of this page.

Sunday Adult Education

The Presbyterian Primaries 2008 
You are invited to attend our Christian Caucuses to discuss the platform from which presidential candidates will jump leading up to the election in November 2008.  This is not a political class, but rather a forum in which we will objectively engage varios socio-political issues through a Christian lens.  We will study these topics for two weeks each during the political season.  Come to learn and discuss the issues.  Voting is prohibited, but praying is encouraged.  This class will be held on Sunday mornings from 10:00 a.m. -10:45 a.m. in the Breckenridge Room (second level, just north of the sanctuary).  Download the Presbyterian Primaries schedule.

The Next Step
What is it that the Presbyterian Church believes?  Does it really matter from Monday to Saturday?  Each week Lee Bowman or Kirk Hall will present a theological doctrine of the Reformed Christian tradition and its practical application in our world.  Please join us to learn what it is that Presbyterians believe!  This class will be held on Sunday mornings from 10:00 a.m. - 10:45 a.m. in room 209 (second level, just northeast of the sanctuary).  Download  The Next Step schedule.

Wonderful Wednesdays
A Soul Food Buffet!

Great food, fellowship and learning return this spring for another mid-week boost for your spiritual life.  Dinner is served from 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. each Wednesday evening in the Assembly Room.
Dinner is $6 per person with a $20 family maximum.
Classes and Children's Choirs begin at 6:30 p.m. and run until 7:15 p.m.
Childcare is provided.
