BabySTEPS: Infant/Toddlers           Room 101 & 102

Infants and toddlers in the Nursery learn to experience God's love by the love and care they receive in our nursery. In addition to their children's experiences at church, parents' of children from birth to 36 months receive Splash!, a monthly newsletter filled with age appropriate ideas for faith-filled play, worship, meals and prayers. If you are not receiving Splash! and would like to, please email Susan Combs or call the Church Office at 252-1919 ext. 106.

FirstSTEPS: Preschool/Pre-Kindergarten  Rooms 001

The loving teachers and experienced childcare providers in our preschool rooms carefully plan and help the children take their first steps on their faith journey using Wee Believe! from PC(USA). FirstSTEPS is a hands-on experience and one that totally engages the children. At 10:55, preschoolers who wish to experience worship will be escorted to the sanctuary with adult volunteers. Following the Children's Blessing, they will be escorted back to the preschool rooms where they will continue with their Sunday school activities.

STEPS: Kindergarten-5th grade                  Rooms 201-204

Our K-5th grade Sunday school program is based on the Workshop Rotation Model of teaching Sunday School. Each month we concentrate on a different Bible story. The children are broken into age-related groups which move to a different workshop every week that teaches the same story but uses a different method. The repetition helps the children remember the story and also provides an opportunity for in-depth exploration.

Bible Stories which will be covered in the 2009-2010 year are:

Creation

Adam and Eve

Jesus' Birth

Noah's Ark

Abraham and Sarah

The Lost Sheep, Coin and Son

The Last Supper

Doubting Thomas

The Road to Emmaus
